Donate Your Teeth So That They Can See

I went for a tooth extraction today. It must have been almost 20 years since my last extraction. I can never forget how my grandmum did it with a string and a door. Alright, let’s not go there. Well, the nurse asked during my extraction today if I wanted to take my tooth back and I said yes. Of course, must have it back as a keepsake! But something interesting happened when the dentist, after extracting my tooth , asked: “WOULD YOU LIKE TO DONATE YOUR TOOTH?”
My 1st Birthday Pressie
Published by eGal | Filed under Day To Day
It’s always exciting when my birthday nears although there’s this dark side of me that is always imagining what if…what is no one remembers?! mmm…anyway, I am getting my 1st birthday pressie! And it’s from my best friend…and it’s also something that I have been procrastinating for a long time! So what exactly is that…

It’s been quite some time since an innovative ad came along. I mean there are many great ads but something with a humour, something that lays it flat, something that intrigues. Alright, I admit, I have a weird sense of humour which I am still trying to figure out myself…more on that later.
The last time I saw something similar was for Old Chang Kee’s “Expecting Twins” campaign in a bid to promote their 2 new flavour curry puffs - sardines and pepper chicken. Recently on tv, something that really attracted me was this ad from Soy Joy’s “So Joyful Together” ad….
Good Ol’ Remnants
Published by eGal | Filed under Life, Reminisce
It was about 6 years or so ago when I 1st came across the word, REMNANTS, while I was working at Laura Ashley - cloth remnants, it was in that context that I knew of this very “nice-to-pronounce” word. Yesterday, I saw a packet of assorted bread remnants, selling at $1. Lately, I am in mood of reminiscing…about what? About remanants, of course…
